As an agency nurse you need to be able to 'hit the ground running'. You must have the experience & maturity to stay calm under stress, prioritise well & lead others. You will require at least 1 year post grad experience in Aged Care in Australia.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass a range of essential nursing tasks, allowing you to make a significant impact on residents' well-being and care. You will require:

Demonstrated competence in the provision of contemporary Aged Care nursing including Medication management, clinical assessment and relevant documentation.

Strong sense of empathy & understanding for older residents.

Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.

The flexibility to work across various facilities.

Requirements:

Australian Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and relevant certifications.

Demonstrated experience in Aged Care settings, minimum 12 months paid experience, post new grad year, in an Australian facility, with a passion for aged care.

Strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to work well within a team.

Ability to stay calm under pressure & prioritise

Police check less than 12 months old.

Working With Vulnerable People Card (including NDIS screening)
