About the Role
Due to growth across the QLD market, the business is needing an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across a large Brisbane territory. This external sales role is responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key accounts within the civil, infrastructure, and construction markets.
The role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, has strong industry networks, and enjoys winning projects while maintaining long-term partnerships.
Key role details
Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across Queensland
Develop and maintain relationships with civil contractors, builders, engineers, and government stakeholders
Manage existing accounts, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships
Provide technical sales support and tailored solutions to meet client needs
Deliver on sales targets and growth objectives for the region
Report on market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines
Your Background
This is a highly autonomous role working closely across major industry markets whether it be T1 contractors, end users, councils or government sectors. You will need a very strong understanding of these areas and how to target clientele in this psace.
Proven track record in business development or sales within construction, precast, civil, or related sectors
Strong knowledge of infrastructure and civil construction markets in QLD
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive environment
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered products and project requirements
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across QLD
On Offer
Base Salary of $110k - $130k
Super at 12%
Fully Maintained Company Vehicle
