Our client is a respected leader in the steel reinforcing industry, supplying high-quality products and solutions to construction projects across Australia. With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to strengthen relationships with major clients and drive continued business growth.

Role Description
In this role, you will take ownership of managing and growing key accounts within the residential sector. You will work closely with directors, senior managers, and decision-makers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities for increased engagement and supply. This is a strategic, client-facing role that requires confidence, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage relationships at the highest level.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow key client relationships across the steel reinforcing industry.

Act as the primary point of contact for directors and senior stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for business expansion within existing accounts.

Develop tailored solutions to meet client project requirements.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Represent the business with professionalism and credibility at all times.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the steel reinforcing industry.

Proven track record in managing key accounts and building strong client relationships.

Ability to engage and negotiate with senior executives and directors.

Established, active relationships within the steel reinforcing or broader construction industry.

Strong communication, commercial, and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

Base $125k - $140k + Super 12% + Company Car + Commission
