About the Role
We’re looking for a caring, driven Recruitment Resourcer to help nurses and midwives find their next great role across rural and remote Australia. You’ll be based in Melbourne and work closely with our Rural & Remote Recruitment team to build relationships with candidates, understand their preferences, and match them to the right opportunities.
This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people and making their lives easier. Attitude is everything. You don’t need a qualification, but strong customer service and confident phone skills are essential.
What you’ll do
Proactively source and engage nurses, midwives and care staff for rural and remote contracts
Run phone screens, understand availability, skills and preferences, and keep candidates updated
Create talent pools, maintain accurate notes in our ATS, and keep pipelines moving
Coordinate interviews, collect documents, and hand over to compliance for onboarding
Work with Recruitment Account Managers to find candidates their perfect role
Provide a thoughtful candidate experience from first call to start date
What you’ll bring
A caring, can-do attitude and genuine passion for helping people into meaningful work
Comfortable making and taking high volumes of calls each day
Clear communication, active listening and steady follow-through
Strong admin habits with accurate data entry and attention to detail
Customer service experience in a phone-based role
Melbourne based, able to attend the office regularly as part of a hybrid week
Nice to have: experience with an ATS or CRM (Bullhorn or similar) and an interest in rural and remote healthcare or a background in nursing/healthcare.
