ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an HR Assistant who would be a part of Life Ready core HR Team and will help in managing all core HR systems, processes, activities and initiatives spanning a staff member’s life cycle from onboarding to exit.

This role is for a one-year fixed-term contract

WHAT YOU NEED

A Bachelor’s degree in HR or Database Management

Eligibility to work in Australia

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

An openness to being part of a close-knit team and helping to add to the positive work culture.

Satisfactory criminal record

High emotional intelligence and self-awareness

Proficiency with quantitative data analysis

Strong process orientation and a work ethic that focuses on the thoroughness of approach, rigour and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

Managing the smooth running of routine HR processes as relevant to the different categories of staff at Life Ready (regular staff, casual staff and contractors): this would include on-boarding, confirmation at the end of probation, contract management, changes in contract terms, off-boarding processes, and others

Helping maintain rigorous and reliable data management systems with timely updating and accurate reporting as needed

Regular follow-up with the staff members; ensuring timely renewals of insurance and AHPRA certificates, and regular contract renewals

Provide required data and support on the audit process to ensure smooth audits

Provide support in rolling out regular performance reviews to ensure smooth and timely appraisal cycles
