The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with experience in estimating Remedial Building projects - Concrete repair / Concrete spalling, Balcony remediation and reinstatement, Waterproofing, Facade upgrades and Structural repair works to join their team. You will desirably have 3+ years experience. Experience in Remedial Building and Waterproofing is essential.

Role Responsibilities

• Initial assessment of tenders received to determine size and scope of project
• Attend tender meetings
• Prepare tender estimates
• Read and interpret project documentation, including specifications, drawings and BOQ's
• Complete take-offs
• Preparation of proposed methodology
• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
• Provide detailed handover of project information to the Construction Team

What are we looking for?

• Essential Experience - Minimum 3 years recent experience estimating Remedial Building works - Concrete repair / Concrete spalling, Balcony remediation and reinstatement, Waterproofing, Facade upgrades and Structural repair works.
• Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or Construction Management
• Understanding of the Remedial Building, Waterproofing and Building Maintenance process
• Full Australian working rights - No VISA sponsorship available
