The Role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Sydney! Ideally, we're looking for someone with a background in Structural Strengthening, who's ready to step into a dynamic role that's set to evolve into a Commercial Manager position within 12 to 18 months.

In this role, you'll bring your strong commercial insight and hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor to help manage value engineering and post-award processes, ensuring that every project delivers maximum value. You'll play a key role in client support and contribute to the success of ongoing remedial projects.

You'll report directly to both the General Manager and Construction Manager, working closely with a supportive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Post-Construction Support (This will be your core focus)
• Cost Estimation and Budget Control
• Feasibility Studies and Financial Reporting
• Tendering and Contract Management
• Procurement Strategy and Advice
• Risk Assessment and Value Engineering
• Ongoing Monitoring and Project Reporting

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of recent experience as a Quantity Surveyor — ideally within Structural Strengthening and Remedial Building works
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying - Essential
• In-depth knowledge of key remedial scopes: Concrete Repair, Concrete Spalling/Cancer, Water Ingress, Waterproofing, Carbon Fibre Strengthening, and more
• Exceptional organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
• Full Australian working rights (Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available)
