About the role

Mend Building Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Remedial Building Foreperson/Supervisor to join our team in Sydney. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial supervisory and leadership position, overseeing the delivery of high-quality remedial building projects.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure the successful and timely delivery of remedial building projects

Providing technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues

Liaising with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met

Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment to support project delivery

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Mentoring and developing the skills of the team to support their professional growth

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a Remedial Building Foreperson or Supervisor

Strong technical knowledge of remedial building techniques and practices

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other professionals

Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and quality

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
