PROJECT MANAGER – MAJOR WATER INFRASTRUCTURE | $220K + SUPER + 6 WEEKS LEAVE | ACCOM INCLUDED | TRAVEL SUBSIDISED

THE CLIENT

Our client, a highly regarded contractor specialising in water and environmental infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the a Water Reclamation Plant Solids Handling Upgrade Project. This is a landmark community-focused development, and the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of delivery—from design through to commissioning and final handover.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end project delivery in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements
• Implementing project-specific HSE systems and driving a strong safety culture
• Managing cost control, procurement, and subcontractor performance
• Coordinating design, construction, commissioning, and client handover
• Maintaining accurate program timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication
• Building strong relationships with a client, local authorities, and project partners
• Ensuring compliance with the Local Industry Development Plan and relevant IR policies
• Leading and mentoring a high-performing site team

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in successfully delivering major infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing water, wastewater, or process-related projects valued at $20M+
• Familiarity with Victorian Water Authority Major Works or AS4300-1995 Head Contract conditions
• Strong leadership, planning, safety, and commercial management capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commitment to sustainability, safety, and community impact
