The Role & Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Sales, Product Design & Project Services you will be responsible for:

Managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple hospitality, retail and commercial fit-out projects on time, on budget, to specification including planning, quality, OHS&E, SWMS, risk management

Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts and variations using FSCI’s software and processes

Supervising and supporting FSCI Project Lead Carpenters and Junior Project Managers

Managing procurement of materials and fit-out items

Conducting ongoing communication, reporting and project debriefs with stakeholders

Attending FSCI Monthly Management Team Meetings at Williamstown North HQ

About You

Australian Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available)

Background in shop fit-outs or domestic/high-end residential construction projects with one of the following:

Proven Project Management experience delivering fit-out or construction projects OR

Strong trade/site background (builder, carpenter or site manager) with demonstrated leadership on projects and readiness to step into full project management

Skilled at reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic)

Proven ability to build and maintain project schedules and deliver regular status reports

Solid understanding of OHS&E, SWMS, compliance obligations and construction regulations

Confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills

Able to manage multiple projects and high workloads under pressure

Tech-literate, confident using laptops/tablets/software (experience with project management software such as Monday.com is a plus)

White Card and current Australian Driver’s Licence
