Key Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and drawings.

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.

Repair and renovate wooden structures and fittings.

Ensure all projects adhere to building codes and standards.

Collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients.

Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and operational manner.

Uphold a safe work environment by abiding by all safety regulations.

Conduct quality control measures to ensure exceptional work.

Provide support to the project manager and assist with project planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Relevant qualification.

Strong technical skills with the ability to read plans and drawings.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
