About the role:

Metrowest seeks a qualified carpenter with relevant experience in ceiling fixing, building works and general maintenance duties to join our growing service team. Working at a multitude of sites in the Perth Metro area, every day brings something different. We are looking for someone who is hardworking with good communication skills and enjoys the challenge of varied work across multiple skill sets.

It is a requirement of the role to have trade qualifications in either carpentry or ceiling fixing with relevant on the job experience.

The main tasks of this role include:

Installing suspended plasterboard and decorative ceilings.

First, second, and third fix carpentry

Repairing and maintaining existing ceiling and wall structures.

Flushing, patching, and painting

Wall and door repairs

General building maintenance

The successful candidate will:

Have a strong focus on promoting and displaying a positive attitude towards safety

Possess strong communication skills

Have competent planning and prioritising skills
