Our client is a staffing/recruitment business who specialize in placing qualified professionals in construction and traffic management roles across Melbourne. They have been in operation for 30 years and are a family first business who have a strong focus on ensuring their employees are well looked after.

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a small team or 3, you will be responsible for:

• Weekly processing for 300-400 employees
• Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
• Interpretating relevant awards/EBA's and applying relevant policies
• Adjustment calculations
• Assisting with Work Cover administration
• Answering payroll queries

Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
• Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
