About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will have primary responsibility for finance and commercial functions while leading a team, as well as partnering with the CFO and other stakeholders to deliver strong financial integrity and financial insights to support a operations. This role will also support the executives with review of the financial strategy, funding and acquisitions - essential components of future growth planning.

Provide strategic and operational financial advice to the CFO, Executive team, and relevant managers in all aspects of financial management, annual budget development and monthly budget reporting of variances.

Develop financial control systems, budget guidelines and reporting mechanisms so that Management and the Board have a complete understanding of the financial viability, efficiency and future options for resource management.

Oversee the preparation of the Annual Financial Report in accordance with legislative standards.

Ensure that all financial records and reports comply with legislative standards and requirements.

Drive financial performance of the business by providing commercial direction, financial advice and deep analytical insights into the drivers of success.

Conduct financial analysis to understand key business drivers and use data and analytics to provide actionable advice to the CFO, ELT and Operations to improve business performance and financial results.

Develop the key financial and non-financial performance metrics (KPIs) and targets that shape the corporate strategic plan at all levels of the business.

Develop the group quarterly rolling forecast and annual budget, ensuring appropriate engagement between various business stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Extensive senior financial managerial position with a proven success record.

Experience in finance within the Healthcare, Aged Care or a Community purpose driven Industry - desirable.

Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses.

Results oriented and metrics driven.
