Disability Support Worker – Paraplegic Participant (Active Night Shifts)
📍 Location: Swan Reach

We are seeking experienced and reliable female Disability Support Workers to provide overnight care for a 40-year-old male participant living with paraplegia.

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of disability support work experience.

About the Role

This is an active night shift position requiring hands-on personal care and support, including:

Catheter and bowel care

Manual handling and transfers

Monitoring and attending to participant needs overnight

Promoting comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the shift

Shift Times

Monday to Friday: 8:00 pm – 7:00 am

Saturday: 9:00 pm – 7:00 am

What We're Looking For

Female support workers only (participant preference)

Experience with personal care, catheter & bowel care essential

Confident in safe manual handling techniques

Patient, reliable, and professional

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Mandatory Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR

First Aid and CPR certifications must be obtained within 30 days of commencement

Manual Handling Training (preferred)

Valid driver's licence (preferred)
