We are a leading provider of cleaning services and are currently looking for reliable and hardworking new team members who have great communication skills to join our team as a Domestic Cleaner servicing the Fawkner, Preston, Heidelberg West, Pascoe Vale and Coburg areas.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service approach and ability to follow directions and work autonomously. Experience in cleaning is not essential as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided. However, previous cleaning experience in an aged care/homecare environment is preferred.

Your key responsibilities may include one or more of the below:

Surface cleaning (dusting and wiping including sanitation and infection control).

Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

Glass, mirror and/or window cleaning.

Waste collection, removal and recycling.

Bathroom (including disposal of hazardous waste i.e. body spills and sanitary disposal) and kitchen cleaning.

Required Experience & Skills

Able to work well with others and can also work alone, understand and follow clear instructions.

Good at organising job tasks within set timeframes.

Able to learn new skills, cleaning methods and processes.

Competent communicator in English (minimum IELTS requirement of 5.5 in all four parts of reading, writing, listening and speaking or an equivalent test / competency level).

Understanding of good customer service.

Has attention to detail, making sure all cleaning is done to a high standard.

Able to be flexible at work and can change tasks or work in different places as needed.

Understands and follows all safety rules at work.

Able to meet the physical requirements to complete cleaning work. Which means you can move and meet energy demands relating to the physical nature of cleaning, stay focused, see different colours, and lift (sometimes or often) at least 5kg and in some cases up to 25kg.

All candidates must have the following:

Valid Australian driver’s license.

3 Covid vaccinations and Police check.

Have full time working rights and available to work full time hours Mon - Fri (working hours between 8am – 6pm)

Previous cleaning experience and age care/homecare cleaning is an advantage.
