Are you a detail-oriented and systems-savvy professional who thrives on improving processes and ensuring quality outcomes. We're looking for a Quality and Continuous Improvement Officer to join our dynamic team and support the integrity and effectiveness of our services.

If you enjoy working behind the scenes to support frontline teams, love diving into data and compliance, and are passionate about creating sustainable change through quality systems—this could be the role for you.

About the Role

This position sits within the Business Services team and plays a key role in supporting DVAC’s quality, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

As the Quality and Continuous Improvement Officer, you’ll lead internal audits, monitor compliance, contribute to incidents and complaints processes, and ongoing service improvements through data analysis, reporting, and project support.

Your role will directly support the development and implementation of quality frameworks and systems that ensure we meet both our regulatory obligations and our high standards of client care.

What We Offer

A dynamic and supportive team environment

A competitive salary and benefits package with above-Award conditions

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits and support external accreditation readiness

Monitor compliance with legislation, standards, and organisational policies

Review and report on feedback, complaints, and incidents

Maintain and analyse quality indicator data for continuous improvement

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures

Coordinate Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)

Support the organisation’s risk and compliance calendar

Deliver training related to quality and compliance processes

About You

You're an analytical thinker, a strong communicator, and someone who takes pride in building systems that work. You enjoy problem-solving, are naturally curious, and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in quality, policy, or compliance roles (preferably in community services, health, or not-for-profit sectors)

Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF)

Excellent analytical, research, and reporting skills

High-level verbal and written communication skills

Strong time management and organisational skills

Experience using audit, document control, or compliance systems (desirable)

A tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Business, Community Services, or a related field (desirable)

Our Organisation

DVAC is committed to creating a safe and inclusive work environment. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to creating a workplace culture that reflects our organisational values.

How to Apply

If you are a detail-driven professional who wants to play a key role in ensuring quality services and continuous improvement across our organisation, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and what excites you about this opportunity.
