Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our professional and friendly team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality of our cannabis products through meticulous administrative work, while also maintaining the inventory management from the quality perspective. The ideal candidate will have working experience in quality assurance and/or customer service in pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Pharmaceutical Quality System:
Assist and Maintain the Document Management System includes but not limited to publish and distribute SOPs, issue batch records, and making electronic compliance reports into SharePoint.
Follow quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate with cultivation and production teams to monitor and document product quality at various stages of production.
Assist with Inventory Management System to ensure inbound and outbound products process comply with internal procedures.
Assist in responding to customer inquiries related to product quality, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
Maintain customer databases and track sales orders related to product quality.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide detailed product quality information to potential and existing clients.
Assist preparation reports to regulatory authorities as required.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure that all products meet or exceed required standards.
Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that all quality assurance practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory inspections and audits.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality.
Provide feedback to the production team on quality trends and suggest corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in quality assurance and/or customer service within the cannabis industry or pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for therapeutical goods in Australia.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using quality management software and sales systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals or food production.
Knowledge of cannabis cultivation and production processes.
Experience with product sales and client relations in the cannabis or health-related industries.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
