Our service is part of a not for profit organisation and we pride ourselves on offering quality care and competitively low fees. All profits are channeled back into the programs and Centre, so that we are offering fresh up to date programming at all times. This includes providing our Educators with training and skills building support. We value creativity and inspiration for engaging quality carers who feel valued and professionally developed. Our Centre is inclusive of all and caters to children with additional support needs. We enjoy positive interactive relationships with our participants parents/guardians, inviting them to enjoy art exhibitions, OOSH cafe by the children and much more.

Hours Minimum 25 per week

The position is permanent parttime 5 afternoons per week Monday to Friday 2 pm to 6 pm totaling 20 hours plus 5 hours admin-program planning and meeting time per week.

The position has the potential to earn up to 38 hours per week during Vacation Care periods on a roster system.

Qualifications & experience

Required minimum of Cert 3 in Child Care or Children's services and 6 months experience working in Children's services

Current drivers license

Current Working with children's check

Current NSW Police Check

Current or willingness to obtain first aid certificate and Child Protection certificate

Current or willingness to obtain a Certified supervisors Certificate

Australian work rights are required for this position

Tasks & responsibilities

Carry out the shared Certified Supervisor's role on your shifts and for vacation care excursions

Work with team leader to implement the day to day running plans for the care of children enrolled in the service.

Maintain safety standards of care and follow all agency policies and procedures

Engage children in positive, fun, play activities while supervising for safety and positive peer interactions.

Carry out administration tasks when rostered off the floor. This could include writing up shift notes, incident reports, program plan feedback and participating in staff meetings.
