We're looking for a proactive Safety Manager to lead safety culture on high-impact projects in live environments like schools, hospitals, and community infrastructure.
You'll be a central figure in a growing team, working with a strong focus on collaboration and shared responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Implement Safety Programs: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel and subcontractors.

Conduct Audits and Inspections: Lead site inspections and audits to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards and safety risks before they cause accidents.

Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations of any incidents or near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Provide Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training and inductions for all workers and subcontractors.

Promote Safety Culture: Champion a culture of safety and accountability by building strong relationships and ensuring open communication with all stakeholders on-site.

Manage Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.

What You'll Bring to the Team

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, with a strong background in civil or commercial construction projects.

Certifications: Possess a relevant safety certification, such as an Advanced Diploma of Work Health & Safety.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with safety management software for tracking metrics and reporting. Experience with HammerTech is highly desirable.

Problem-Solving: A proactive, hands-on approach with a sharp eye for detail to identify and correct potential hazards.

Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of trades and teams on the ground.

Leadership: A proven ability to lead and influence others, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
