GMW is Australia’s largest rural water corporation, managing 70 per cent of Victoria’s stored water resources and Australia’s largest irrigation delivery network and we are recruiting a safety professional to work within our Health Safety and Environment team.

About the Role

This key role provides Health and Safety support and advice to our leaders and employees.

Safety is at the core of what we do and aligns with our strategic pillars, supported by a culture of innovation and achievement. Our Safety and Environment Business Partners are regarded as critical to the business and receive exceptional support from the Board, General Managers, and Leaders.

The HSE team and this role as part of that, participates in development and maintenance of our Health and Safety management system – our procedures, responses and actions and works across all of our Divisions. The ability to build strong relationships with all colleagues and external stakeholders is therefore essential. The role is diverse and you can expect to be involved in a range of health and safety matters.

What do you need?

- Cert IV/Diploma in OHS and/or EMS (can be working towards)

- Industry experience in provision of safety/environment advice

- Thorough understanding of OHS Acts, regulation, policies and procedures and

relevant ISO and AS standards

- Understanding of current Injury Management and Return to Work processes
