Be Part of Something Big — Take the Lead on an Exciting New Project
At MUVE Logistics, we're on a mission to reshape the logistics game in Australia. As we continue to scale new heights in the transport, storage, and warehousing space. We've been engaged by one of our key national customers to manage their entire warehouse operations, for one of their largest projects in their history, located in Derrimut.
This is an 18-month, high-impact opportunity to lead daily operations, guide a dedicated team, and ensure everything runs like clockwork on the ground. If you're ready to get hands-on, lead with purpose, and help deliver a critical initiative from start to finish — this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee daily warehouse operations at the project site, ensuring efficiency and performance
Lead a small team, driving collaboration, accountability, and results
Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Take a hands-on role in resolving issues, supporting team workflows, and keeping operations moving
Operate forklifts and assist with physical tasks as needed to keep things running smoothly
Manage stock movements, dispatch, and inventory accuracy
Ensure compliance with WHS protocols and promote a safety-first culture
Leverage systems and data to optimise processes and monitor performance
Collaborate with MUVE leadership and the customer to deliver operational excellence across the board
What You Bring
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within warehousing, logistics, or operations
Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or operations environments
A hands-on, proactive approach — you lead by example and aren't afraid to get involved on the floor
Experience training and mentoring team members to build capability and drive stronger performance
A track record of developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation to improve operational consistency and efficiency
Current forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating in a busy warehouse environment
Strong systems knowledge — confident using WMS platforms or similar tools to manage workflow and stock
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) platforms for stock management and workflow optimisation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills
A deep understanding of WHS requirements and a strong safety-first mindset
Ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly, and deliver results in a fast-moving project environment
Why This Project, Why Now?
Lead a major project that will shape our customer's future operations
Be part of a tight-knit, high-energy team that values initiative and ownership
Gain recognition and exposure for delivering results in a pivotal role
Opportunity to work with industry-leading systems and customers
Long-term growth potential beyond the project — we invest in talent
