About the role

Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse - Night Duty Sunday & Monday to join our team in Strathfield, NSW. In this key role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our rehabilitation patients, focused on supporting their recovery and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

Delivering compassionate nursing care to patients in our rehabilitation facility

Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualised care plans

Administering medications and monitoring patients' conditions

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care

Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining detailed records

Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Significant experience in a rehabilitation or general medical/surgical nursing role

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
