Current team of 2 female registered nurses where you would have a flexible choice of hours with ideal cover on a wednesday half day and another morning half day. Can offer more hours if needed.

Support staff 3 female receptionists and 3 general practitioners.

Essential Criteria:

Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA

Current immunisation certificate

Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organisational and time management skills

Minimum of 3 years experience as a general practice registered nurse OR in a skin cancer practice setting

COVID vaccination up to date

Experience with wound management, immunisations and assisting in procedures

Experience with developing Health Assessments and GP Chronic Condition Management plans.

Highly regarding skill set:

Computer skills on Medical Director or Best Practice

Strong clinical and academic skills

Childhood immunisation experience

Minor procedure assistance including mirena insertion

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

a friendly warm demeanour with the ability to set healthy boundaries with patients when necessary

Responsibilities:

Patient liaison with giving results and triage

Operation of the recall system, patient results, care planning and health assessments

stock control

cold chain management

provision of support to practice staff and doctors

IV iron Infusions

ECGs

Triaging of patients

wound management

immunisations

Assisting doctors with procedures and management of patients

Maintenance of practice equipment and other paperwork or online applications as required
