We (Power Phaze Electrical) are a growing organisation providing high-quality electrical/solar engineering and technical solutions across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will support engineers in testing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems and equipment. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, assist and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

Install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment

Conduct tests, record results, and prepare technical reports

Ensure compliance with Australian safety and quality standards

Provide technical support and liaise with engineers, clients, and contractors as required

Skills & Experience Required

Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field (Diploma/Certificate IV or higher)

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and diagnostic tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Understanding of Australian Standards, WHS practices, and compliance requirements

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable

3 Years of Prior experience in energy (Solar) is desirable

Current electrical licence (if applicable but not mandatory)
