FIFO POSITION

Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

We seeking an experienced Grader operator and two Excavator Operators to undertake civil construction work in accordance with company standards and project specifications

The position will be based at our project sites across the NT and will be require to work on a 3:1 or 2:1 Roster.

Required:

Demonstrated experience as a Grader and/or Excavator Operator

Appropriate plant operating competency certificates,

Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively while unsupervised and as a team member,

Demonstrated willingness and ability to comply with Workplace Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental legislation and plan requirements,

Demonstrated understanding of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment and willingness to undertake minor maintenance activities and replacement of consumables,

Basic reading and writing skills, including the ability to fill in forms and documentation,

Basic understanding and knowledge of information technology practices, including the ability to use email and mobile phone,

Good communications skills,

Punctual and reliable approach to work hours,

Current Drivers licence,

Willingness and ability to work away from home

Construction Induction Certificate (White Card), or willingness to obtain
