iFind Pipes ‘N’ Cables Pty Ltd is one of the largest privately owned utility service locating providers in the Northern Territory. We specialise in underground utility locating and non-destructive digging (hydro vacuum excavation), helping reduce the risks associated with underground utility strikes.

We work with project managers, engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure safety and compliance before any mechanical excavation begins.

About the Role

We are currently seeking Hydro Vac Operators and All-Round Plant Operators for immediate start in Darwin and surrounding areas.

These roles are casual to start, with opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance. You’ll be operating modern Hydro Vac trucks and/or a range of civil equipment on a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of Hydro Vac Trucks or civil plant

Daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance (oil, filters, fluid levels)

Adherence to site safety requirements and company policies

Assist with underground utility locating and excavation work

General labour as required on site

Essential Requirements

HR Licence (minimum requirement for Hydro Vac Operator)
Construction White Card
Ability to obtain a clear National Police Check
Physically fit and mechanically minded
Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised

Note: Hydro Vac experience is highly regarded, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
