The Role

Our client, a national law firm located in central Brisbane CBD is seeking a Trust Account Clerk to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for:

• trust account processing
• trust account reconciliation
• preparing trust account cheques and receipting
• dealing with trust enquires
• reporting
• assisting with trust audits

This role will also require you to act as back up to other members of the accounts team with accounts payable and receivable, from time to time. You will use Actionstep accounting package. There is also the option to take on payroll duties if you have this experience.

You

To be successful in this role you require a minimum 4 years experience working with a trust account in a law firm as well as knowledge of trust account legislation. Candidates with additional payroll experience will be highly regarded.
