What you'll do:

• Review and monitor daily takings reported by the organisation, ensuring accuracy and authenticity of information and data
• Prepare and post journal entries for all streams of revenue
• Upload bank statements and perform reconciliations weekly
• Perform weekly reconciliation of cash movements and banking entries
• Prepare weekly dashboard reports
• Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts
• Update management reports on stocktake variances, debtors, and data
• Review and process weekly hotel payroll reports
• Liaise with various venue managers
• Participate in ad-hoc projects
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required

What you'll bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A relevant degree in finance, or 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
• Quick learner
• Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
