About the Opportunity
As part of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (‘AEDA') Marketing Team, the Marketing Business Partner plays a key role in delivering the AEDA Marketing and Brand Strategy through the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives, with a particular focus on the B2B and Visitor Economy sectors. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, the role leads a Marketing and Content Coordinator, works closely with the Graphic Designer and Head of Digital, and provides support to ensure campaigns and creative projects are delivered effectively and in line with organisational objectives.
The position is responsible for managing marketing and communications strategies, budgets and performance reporting, while also acting as a primary contact for stakeholders to provide advice and coordination. It represents AEDA on joint marketing initiatives with key external partners, including State Government, and ensures that all activities are aligned with consumer-focused best practice.
The Marketing Business Partner contributes to continuous improvement by embedding customer-centric thinking across the team, developing clear briefs, monitoring delivery, and seeking opportunities to collaborate across AEDA. By staying across emerging trends in marketing, communications and customer experience, the role ensures AEDA campaigns remain innovative, effective and strategically aligned.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial experience in managing and developing customer-centric marketing strategies and initiatives across B2B and B2C channels to deliver organisational outcomes.
- Substantial experience in collaborating and influencing stakeholders to deliver solutions in a complex and/or political working environment.
- Strong data driven thinking, analytical skills, comprehensive experience with digital technologies and up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
- A sound understanding of best practice marketing and communication processes and practices and the ability to evaluate and advise on the outcomes of marketing activities.
- Proven ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to deliver strategic and organisational outcomes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise, set deadlines, solve complex problems and make effective recommendations and decisions.
