About the role
As an Administrative Support Officer in the Anatomical Pathology Directorate, you will provide essential support to the Clinical Director and Directorate Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and administrative processes. Your role is key to maintaining an organised and efficient work environment, allowing the leadership team to focus on delivering high-quality pathology services.
You will also take on the responsibilities of a hiring manager, managing medical appointments and contract variations through E-recruitment processes. This includes coordinating interviews, handling documentation, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience. This is a dynamic role offering the chance to contribute to a high-performing team and make a real impact within SA Pathology.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment and can provide exceptional support to our team.
Proven experience in administrative or executive assistant roles, ideally within medical or related settings.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in minute-taking, audio typing, and handling confidential information.
Proficient in computerised systems, medical terminology, and providing high-level customer service in a professional manner.
