About the Role:
In this role as the Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Theatre, you will provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services, consolidating your expertise through experience and ongoing development. You’ll support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in leading the theatre team, guiding and mentoring less experienced staff, and ensuring accountability for safe and effective practice. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will undertake a portfolio of management duties including supporting practice changes, coordinating staffing and rostering, managing resources, and promoting continuity of care. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your leadership skills with hands-on clinical expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About You:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.

- This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
