Join SALHN for an exciting new opportunity as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager within our multidisciplinary team in rehabilitation and aged care.

About the role:

Step into a rewarding leadership position as Associate Nurse Unit Manager within our multidisciplinary team in rehabilitation and aged care where you'll drive clinical excellence and support our dedicated nursing team. This permanent opportunity provides you with the foundation to build a lasting career whilst contributing to high-quality patient care in the southern Adelaide region

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in daily operational oversight and management
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff across the unit
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
  • Manage clinical workflows and coordinate patient care activities
  • Participate in staff rostering, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives

About you:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing standards, policies, and procedures
  • Understanding of quality improvement processes and clinical governance
  • Ability to delegate effectively and make sound clinical decisions under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
