Overview
Are you an experienced nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact in cancer care? Port Lincoln Hospital is seeking a dedicated and innovative Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Cancer Services to lead and coordinate a dynamic team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our community.
As NUM, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership, management, and coordination of cancer services.
- Oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care.
- Drive quality improvement, resource management, and staff development.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and culturally safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with health professionals and community partners to achieve the best outcomes.
About You
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience, with proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team development abilities.
- Knowledge of cancer services and contemporary nursing practice standards.
