The role:
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, lead clinical governance, and mentor staff to uphold best practice standards.

Duties include:

• Lead and manage nursing and care staff across a small 60 bed
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, policies, and aged care regulations
• Promote a positive, respectful, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in clinical care
• Coordinate rostering, staff development, and performance management

To be successful you will have:

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration) with minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in aged care
• Sound understanding of aged care standards and person-centred care principles
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for rural health and making a difference in a local community
