We're looking for a Product Designer to join our collaborative team who enjoys working end-to-end in an energetic startup where projects move fast, we think on our toes, and then we do it all again the next day - and absolutely love it!

We want our new designer to:

Come to work each day ready to learn, innovate, and grow.

Be willing to get their hands dirty, pitch ideas, and make mistakes.

Ask questions, build relationships, and learn the broker industry inside out.

Know how to do a project in 3 weeks, but be able to come to a solution in 3 days if that's what is asked.

Know when to push the status quo and when to stick to the brief.

Work end-to-end on multiple projects and timelines effectively, asking for feedback and support along the way as needed.

Brainstorm, do scrappy research, create user flows, low-fi designs, and deliver pixel-perfect designs and prototypes.

Work closely with other designers, founders, engineers, PMs.

Use our Quickli design system and work collaboratively to help improve/optimise it as we grow.

Skills and experience:

5+ years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in a startup environment

Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking and high-quality UI.

Ability to quickly iterate and produce diverse design concepts.

Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts and visions.

Collaborative working style, fostering team communication.

Skilled in user research and usability testing methodologies.

Business acumen to align design strategies with company goals and market trends.

Technical understanding to ensure designs are feasible within the development constraints.

Deep knowledge of layout, typography, and visual design principles.

Proficient in Figma (design / prototype / utilising a design system)

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to have:

Experience in the financial technology sector

Experience in creating and interpreting data visualisations, such as graphs and tables.
