Key to their continued evolution and growth, they are seeking to appoint an astute and progressive BDM to identify and manage high value distribution channel partnerships.
Scope of the Role:
With the support of an experienced management team, you will have the autonomy to develop the business across Victoria, Southern NSW, South Australia and Tasmania. This will include:
Identifying and building partnerships with leading local and national distribution companies providing technical insight and ongoing support for all power transmission related products
Establishing and nurturing relationships at senior level with external stakeholders to facilitate excellence in service delivery, supply chain value add and mutual commercial success
Creating and delivering effective marketing strategies that align with the company’s core values and growth objectives
Working closely with OEMs to ensure new systems are designed and built with company specified components
Managing pipelines and sales forecasts through regular communication with customers, colleagues, technical support staff and senior management.
You will bring:
Proven mechanical aptitude, ideally in power transmission systems either from an end user or supplier perspective. While not essential, formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering /Fitting or a business discipline would be highly regarded.
Strong commercial acumen with particular expertise with distribution channels for industrial products
Excellent communication skills – both verbal presentations and written reports
Proficiency in the use of ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics) to extract sales data and product trends
Positive energy, drive and the determination to achieve. Ownership of your region is definitely expected, and ambition is encouraged!
