About the role

We are looking for a Village Support Officer to assist the GM Independent Living, in managing the day-to-day operation of our retirement villages located in Gosnells, Albany, and Demark.

This role will be responsible for providing support in the following areas:

Be first point of contact with internal/external stakeholders and prospective clients to administer the admission and discharge process for the Independent Living Units.

Coordinate the valuation, advertising and associated promotional material for Independent Living Units in Gosnells, Denmark, and Albany.

Assist in ensuring the sales process, contracts, information, and documents relative to Independent Living Units are current and compliant with Legislative/Regulatory/Code requirements.

Liaise with Maintenance in relation to the refurbishment and upkeep of Independent Living Units.

Coordinate the village newsletters, and other communications to village residents.

Provide services to clients, including assistance with Clubhouse functions and dining room protocol where applicable.

Coordinate the social calendar of the Village, ensuring an interesting and diverse range of activities, pursuits, and entertainment for residents.

To be successful in this role you will need:

Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419).

Experience in contract administration, interpretation of agreements and relevant legislation, regulations, and Codes.

Experience in coordinating events/activities.

Possess the ability to deal with sensitive issues with compassion, tact, and discretion.

National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months).

Evidence of Flu Vaccination.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high level of attention to detail

Experience working in Aged Care Sector (desirable)
