Are you a seasoned tax professional ready to lead and shape a high-performing team? We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Accountant/Tax Supervisor to lead client engagements and drive strategic tax outcomes. You’ll manage a team of dedicated accountants and work closely with our Director to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Your Mission

Lead a team: Guide and mentor a team of accountants

Manage client portfolios: Take ownership of a large client portfolio, providing expert advice and timely solutions across a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs , and individuals.

Drive compliance: Oversee and manage the delivery of all client tax compliance services, from personal tax returns to complex small family entities.

Strategic advisory: Identify opportunities for business development and provide proactive, value-add tax advice to clients.

Ensure accuracy: Manage and review lodgement compliance programs with the ATO.

What You'll Bring

A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting.

A CPA, CA, or equivalent certification would be an advantage

At least 7 years of experience in a private client tax advisory role

Proven experience managing a large client portfolio.

Expertise in preparing Australian tax returns and annual financial statements for small business entities.

Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying tax-efficient strategies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client trust.

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a top-tier client experience.

Proficiency with key accounting software, including Xero Practice Manager and Xero Tax.
