Tasks & responsibilities

Various positions are open to our practice and your tasks will vary depending on your level of experience.

Prepare and review of payroll/STP lodgement, management account and financial statements

Prepare Activity Statements and income tax returns for different structures

Prepare TPAR, FBT returns, payroll tax returns

Prepare and review year-end tax planning reports

Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed

Solid taxation knowledge in various complex topics such as Div 7A & UPE, GST on going concern sale and trust distribution to non resident.

Monitoring lodgement program to ensure ATO lodgement dates are met

Liaison with ASIC, ATO and clients and answer queries as required

Current user of Blue and Green Xero

· Supervise or mentor junior staff if applicable

About you

Minimum 1-2 year experience in public practice firm with good understanding of taxation laws and accounting standards

Experience in SMSF preferred

A Qualified CA or CPA accountant (or working toward)

Bilingual in Chinese and English

Proficiency in utilising Xero, QuickBook and MYOB

You will be a motivated individual with a positive attitude, professional demeanour and excellent customer service skills

Capability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate complex tax matters in a practical way.
