A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fun and energetic team at Alderton Bhudia. The firm has plenty going on with acquisitions of a firm in Victoria starting our national expansion 2024 and WA additions along with our existing growing client base in Perth.

You’ll be working closely with the Bookkeeping Manager in helping ensure the department runs smoothly and effectively. With the primary objectives and responsibilities of: -

· Acting as a dedicated account manager and point of contact for your clients.

· Overseeing all facets of bookkeeping e.g., Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Bank reconciliations, Data entry, BAS / IAS preparation, Payroll, along with reporting and analysis.

· Ability to finalise all State & ATO compliance and lodgements.

· Assisting in preparation of end of year financials

· Assist with training / support for clients.

· File reviews and set-ups

You’ll need: -

· A Minimum of 3 years’ prior experience in a similar role

· Exceptional communication skills both written & verbal are essential.

· Must be adaptable, show initiative and be self-sufficient.

· Proficiency in Xero accounting packages, and Microsoft Office suite

· Experience in AP, AR and Payroll as well as BAS and Tax

· Ability to adapt to varying client demands is essential.

· This is a permanent position. The role is full time 38 hours per week.
