We’re on the lookout for an outstanding Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Cibaria, Manly. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our high-energy, high-quality venue running smoothly, leading the team, supporting service, and ensuring our guests leave smiling.

What you'll be doing

Helping oversee daily operations including team rosters, inventory, and smooth service delivery

Supporting the Restaurant Manager with planning, decision-making, and strategy

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety

Leading by example to deliver warm, attentive, and memorable customer service

Handling cash and assisting with reporting and basic financial tasks

Coaching and developing our talented front-of-house team

Driving consistency and efficiency through clear systems and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Assistant or FOH leadership role

Proven leadership and people skills—you know how to build and inspire a team

Strong communication and a calm, solutions-focused attitude under pressure

Comfortable with financials—budgets, KPIs, and reporting don’t scare you

A hands-on approach and keen eye for detail

Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays

Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent)
