ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are partnering with a growing security business based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. The role is a part time (2 days per week, 6 hours per day) collections role for the next 3-4 months with opportunities to extend. Immediate start.

Role

The duties include but are not limited to:

• Debt Recovery: Contact clients (businesses and residential customers) via phone, email, or mail to request payment for overdue invoices
• Negotiation: Work with clients to establish reasonable payment plans or settlements, balancing their financial situation with the company's need for timely payments.
• Account Management: Maintain accurate records of all communication, payment arrangements, and account status in the company's debt management system.
• Dispute Resolution: Address any customer disputes related to billing, service charges, or payment issues, and escalate matters when necessary to management or the legal team.
• Customer Relations: Maintain a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused approach while managing debt recovery, ensuring clients feel valued even during collection processes.
• Escalation: Identify accounts that require further escalation and work closely to initiate recovery measures, including reporting to collection agencies if necessary.

Skills + Experience

• Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
• Experience using MYOB is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate excel skills is desirable
• Problem solver
• A proactive member within a team
