Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Consultant to join our People and Culture team in Ultimo, 2007. This is a a full time permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.
About the Role As a Learning and Development Consultant, you will:
- Deliver training to our employees through face-to-face methods or online platforms to a high standard.
- Facilitate workshops, information sessions and digital learning experiences.
- Design and develop training materials, including training packages, workbooks, and manuals.
- Develop e-Learning modules to support the professional development of our employees using Articulate Rise and Storyline and our Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
- Participate in learning and development projects and business partnering across portfolios with our key stakeholders and subject matter experts. This may include scoping a project, developing an implementation plan, delivering on agreed actions and monitoring and reporting on progress/outcomes.
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and learning needs and co-design learning solutions.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification or experience in the field of Learning & Development, Human Resources or Adult Education.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Experience in the design and delivery of a variety of learning solutions: writing, presenting, facilitating, planning, organising and managing all aspects of training initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience and ability in the coordination of, preparation for, and facilitation of small and large group training.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and blended learning.
- Experience in using a learning management system as a trainer or administrator.
What’s on Offer:
- Base salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)
- Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
