About the Role

As an Engagement Manager at ARIIA, you will focus on growing ARIIA's national network, promote Aged Care Incubator and ARIIA programs and services, and actively identify and pursue funding opportunities to support ongoing innovation and collaboration. You will play a key role in advancing our strategic priorities and building our ecosystem by engaging with key stakeholders and facilitating stakeholder engagement initiatives nationally. The role will also support the delivery of high-impact innovative projects by providing coaching and guidance, supporting the planning, implementation, and scale of projects and project governance.

Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) continues to transform the way we care for Older Australians. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Aged Care, ARIIA delivers activities across three workstreams to improve aged care for all Australians. Bringing together consumers, industry and researchers, ARIIA translates research into practice to modernise and pave the way for sector wide improvements, making a real and meaningful change to the aged care sector.

About You

With a background working in and understanding the aged care sector and experience in project management, you can support the ideation, development and/or scaling of innovative projects within aged care.

Your high-level interpersonal skills enable you to identify, engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including Executives and CEO level roles across the profit, not for profit and government organisations within the aged care, technology and research sectors.

In this role you will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Completion of a relevant degree with experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
  • Experience in preparing business cases, grants, commercial proposals and/or applications for philanthropic funding.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including communicating with large groups, facilitating workshops and meetings both online and in person.
  • Well-developed project management and organisational skills including attention to detail, accurate record keeping and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
