For a client of expertech we are URGENTLY looking for a Mid-Senior Product Designer to join a high-performing design team and help deliver beautiful, intuitive, and meaningful digital experiences. Sitting at the heart of strategy, brand, and technology, this role gives you the chance to design products people love. This is a Product Designer role can be done remotely from anywhere in Australia and is WFH.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs, business goals, and brand into smart, scalable digital experiences.
• Lead and contribute to end-to-end product design: from discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and handover.
• Collaborate with researchers, strategists, developers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
• Use Figma like a pro — from components and auto-layouts to tokens and design systems.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems, workflows, and processes that support quality and consistency.
• Present and communicate your design thinking confidently — to clients, teammates, and stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience

• 4-8+ years of product design experience, ideally across web and mobile.
• Solid foundations in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
• Ability to think strategically while still delivering pixel-perfect execution.
• Skilled in designing with accessibility, responsiveness, and usability in mind.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and balancing multiple priorities.
• Fluent in modern design practices, UI patterns, and emerging trends.
• Experience presenting to clients or internal stakeholders with clarity and impact.

Desirable skills and experience

• Familiarity with user research, testing, or workshop facilitation.
• Exposure to AI-driven workflows, design-to-dev automation, or design tooling innovation.
• Understanding of information architecture and content strategy principles.
