About the role

As a Leading Hand at Solve Civil, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of small construction projects across Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains & the Central West . This full-time position requires an experienced leading hand who can effectively coordinate teams, manage multiple site operations, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage small to medium teams of labourers and subcontractors, whilst still being on the tools

Oversee and coordinate civil construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery

Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to meet project deadlines and objectives

Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures

What we're looking for

Good attitude & work ethic

Experience as a Leading Hand or similar in civil construction

Skilled in excavation, stormwater/sewer, formwork & concreting

Ability to read plans and carry out accurate site set-out

Excavator/plant operation experience (tickets required)

White Card, current licence (MR/HR preferred)

Relevant trade qualification in civil construction, carpentry, plumbing or equivalent

Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a focus on delivering high-quality results

Quality & safety mindset

Ability to day travel as required across Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains & Central West (limited overnight stays)
