Protek WA – Live Site Refurbishment Builder

We’re looking for a motivated Minor Works Manager to lead our Reactive Portfolio team and take ownership of quoted projects up to $150k. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role where you won’t just manage a portfolio — you’ll build it, grow it, and shape it.

What you’ll do

Provide leadership to the Reactive Portfolio team, ensuring responsive works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Oversee quoted refurbishment and maintenance projects up to $150k, acting as the subject matter expert.

Guide teams in developing project programs, budgets, and resourcing plans.

Support estimation, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations while mentoring team members.

Be the key point of contact for clients, driving strong relationships and repeat business.

Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, contracts, and risk management requirements.

About you

Proven experience in commercial project management or support (5+ years).

Hands-on background in the building and maintenance industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire teams.

Commercial acumen with a focus on safe, profitable, high-quality outcomes.

Confident communicator who builds trust with clients and stakeholders.

Hands on experience in the building and maintenance industry

Carpentry Trade background in a relevant building discipline

Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

Familiarity with job management platforms (AroFlo ideal)

Formal training in project management or risk management.
