We are looking for a Tech Lead to lead the delivery of a large mobile capability upgrade. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll play a key part in modernising apps with a large and growing user base, ensuring they are high-performing, scalable, and deliver an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of two large-scale mobile app upgrades, ensuring high-quality, on-time outcomes.
• Design and implement scalable architecture using Kotlin and React Native to support growth and future enhancements.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on coding, code reviews, and technical mentorship to elevate team capability and performance.
• Champion agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and quality standards to drive efficient, reliable delivery.
• Oversee release management and post-launch improvements, including app store submissions and performance monitoring.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin (Android) and building enterprise-grade apps
• Proven experience with React Native, delivering production-ready mobile applications
• A track record of leading development teams or acting as a solution architect for complex mobile projects
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns, app performance tuning, and scalability
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of mobile analytics, A/B testing, and user experience optimisation tools
• Experience with backend APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
