About the Role
Talent Street is currently looking for a Microsoft 365 Platform Lead to join a large Queensland Government department. In this role, you will take ownership of their enterprise M365 environment, leading its administration, optimisation, and ongoing evolution to ensure it is secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimise M365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
  
  
• Lead the transition from external vendors to internal support and drive platform improvements.
  
  
• Manage compliance, security policies, identity, and access management.
  
  
• Automate processes using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and Power Automate.
  
  
• Provide technical leadership, support change management, and collaborate across IT operations and business units.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments (500–1000+ users).
  
  
• Deep knowledge of M365 tools, security, governance, and automation.
  
  
• Strong communicator and team player, able to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  
  
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104) highly desirable.
  
  
• Ability to obtain a Police Check

The Benefits
This role offers a contract until the end of the financial year with potential ability to extend, a fantastic hourly rate up to $118.21 + Superannuation and a great work from home component.
